Senior practice nurse with special interests in childhood immunisations and asthma. 

RGN Bsc (Hons)

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Healthcare Assistants

Miss Jade Smedley (f)

Healthcare assistant who is currently undertaking a Clinical healthcare Apprenticeship via University of central Birmingham (UCB) and will have completed this fully by April. She is currently mentored by Gail keane and quality assured by Sarah Mccarthy, quality assurer at UCB. She is now fully accredited in phlebotomy(taking of blood) flu and b12 injections, ECG, minor dressing. NHS Health Checks and helping with Minor Surgery.

New member of our team. She completed phlebotomy training at New Cross Hospital and she has now enrolled at University of Central Birmingham for her clinical Healthcare Apprentice.
